On the opening day of illustrator watamiyu’s exhibition,
we’re hosting an event with our neighbors from
somethinglikethat_coffee and
obento_nichinichi 🍲🍷 🍶
“something like that” will provide the drinks,
while “nichinichi.” will handle the imoni stew and appetizers.
On this day, we’ll also be serving “bara-zushi,” a local specialty from Okayama, made with rice grown in Yamagata—where watamiyu grew up—at her parents’ home 🌾🍣✨ It’s also our 1st anniversary celebration, and since this coincides with the local tradition of sharing bara-zushi with neighbors, it promises to be a fun gathering bringing together Okayama, Yamagata, and our neighborhood.
And this year, something like that, nichinichi., and C&C are all celebrating their first anniversaries 💐
We asked Watamiyu—with whom we share a special connection—to create an illustration for us, and we’ve produced original sweatshirts.
Available in three colors chosen by each store. Sales begin on the day of the event! Please look forward to it ◎
