C&C is a cultural complex located along the Asahigawa River,
a historically important route connecting the Chūgoku Mountains
and the Seto Inland Sea.
Housed in a repurposed building with nearly a century of history, C&C features four guest rooms and a residence for visiting creators.
Creators from a variety of backgrounds stay here temporarily, developing artistic projects and exhibitions inspired by spontaneous connections with people in the city.
Through these everyday exchanges, creative work and daily life at C&C gradually become intertwined. And in time, these overlapping moments eventually take form as culture, shaping the present
