A sister restaurant to the acclaimed Kabi in Meguro, Tokyo—shaped by cultural influences from Japan, France, and Denmark. Situated inside the K5 Hotel in Nihonbashi Kabutocho, it embraced a self-styled “no concept” philosophy, offering inventive, free-spirited dishes rooted in Japanese ingredients. In February 2025, it closed its doors, much to the regret of many.
Ahead of our April 1st opening, we are delighted to host a special opening party.
The chef and sommelier of caveman—once a celebrated restaurant inside Hotel K5 in Tokyo’s Kabutocho—will reunite in Okayama for a one-night-only pop-up dining experience.
Guests can enjoy finger foods crafted with seasonal ingredients from Okayama, paired with natural wines from slowcave. The event will run continuously from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This may well be the only opportunity to savor caveman’s cuisine here in Okayama since the restaurant’s closing.
At C&C, we envision the first floor not only as a place for guests but as an open community hub: a space for artist exhibitions, open workshops, intimate dinners by guest chefs, and gatherings for people who love to create.
This opening party with caveman marks the very first step in that vision. We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a memorable evening.
No reservations required—please feel free to drop by.
