Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1995. Studied textile design at an art university in Kyoto. During her studies, huhu. spent time studying abroad in Helsinki, Finland, where the local lifestyle and experiences became the foundation for her current work as huhu.. Currently active in a wide range of fields including package illustration, textiles, and logo design, guided by the concept “May today be filled with little chuckles.”

After moving from her hometown of Okayama to Tokyo, huhu. began to confront “the act of painting,” cherishing above all the simple joy of creating. The works on view embody this spirit. PATTERN represents the origin of her artistic practice and remains one of the techniques that continues to captivate her in the process. These pieces, painted with a sense of carefree playfulness—like returning to childhood—invite you to share in that feeling.
