Artist / Antique Dealer / Representative of Henjūsha
Born in Tokyo in 1996, currently based in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.
After graduating from Waseda University’s School of Culture, Media and Society, he studied architecture at an art school. In 2021, he relocated to Matsumoto, where he runs the art gallery Henjūsha while creating collage works that combine antiques and discarded materials. Since 2024, his practice has expanded to include paintings, photography, and other forms of expression.
Arisaka’s work draws resonance from outdated relics, materials stripped of their function, and the often-overlooked scenes of everyday life—transforming them into new acts of creation.

“( i ) Flower”
“Everyday life holds more overlooked sights and objects than we imagine: the tiny patterns on plants, the play of light and shadow, oddly shaped holes in walls, pebbles, clouds, snow. With just a little awareness, familiar surroundings can turn into a continuous stream of discoveries.
“( i ) Flower” is an imaginary flower of mine, drawn from everyday seeds of inspiration—casual scenes and objects that spark the imagination. These small moments of noticing, I believe, bring color and richness to daily life.”
